All available Original Oil Paintings and signed Limited Edition Giclée Prints are listed for purchase in the Gallery. Original paintings are custom framed with meticulous care and detail. Please select the "Buy Original" tab available on each original artwork page. Original Paintings when displayed at galleries, per standard gallery policy, are made unavailable on this website. Please refer to information in the painting description for sales and availability at galleries . Once the original painting is returned to the studio, the painting will be available on the website for purchase.

- Special Order Limited Edition Prints: Out of stock prints can be special ordered and are usually shipped within two weeks. Contact the studio for special order inquiries.
- Open Edition Prints: Available in a variety of custom sizes, premium papers, and professional framing options. To order, simply click the "Buy Prints" tab on any individual painting page in the gallery.

Shipping Costs & Handling:
To ensure your Original Oil Paintings and Limited Edition Prints are professionally packaged, fully insured, and securely delivered, shipping is charged at a tiered flat rate based on the item's purchase value. The final shipping rate will be clearly displayed during checkout.
All artwork is professionally shipped via UPS Ground and requires a delivery signature for your security.
Fulfillment Time: Artwork ships within 3-5 business days of purchase.
International Shipping: At this time, I do not ship internationally.
Local Delivery & Pickup
Free Local Delivery: Collectors in the Duluth/Superior area and along the North Shore (Duluth to Grand Marais) are eligible for complimentary artist delivery.
Twin Cities Delivery: Delivery to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area can be arranged. Please contact the studio at [email protected] prior to purchase to coordinate delivery and receive a discount code to bypass shipping charges.
Original Artwork Policies & Collector Protections
Original Oil Paintings
Final Sale Policy: Due to the custom, high-value nature of original fine art, all sales of original oil paintings are final. Each original work is hand-signed by James Ellis and accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Transit Insurance: All original paintings are shipped fully insured with signature required upon delivery.
Limited Edition Archival Giclée Prints
14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: We want you to be completely delighted with your print. If you are not entirely satisfied with your limited edition Giclée print, you may return it within 14 calendar days of delivery for a full refund of the artwork price.
Return Conditions: Returned prints must be unused, in their original undamaged condition, and shipped fully insured in their original packaging at the collector’s expense. Please contact [email protected] prior to returning any item.
Transit Damage Policy
All original paintings and prints are fully insured during transit. In the rare event that your artwork arrives damaged, please take clear photos of both the outer packaging and the damaged artwork immediately and notify the studio within 48 hours of delivery. Please retain all packing materials, as the carrier (UPS) may require an inspection to complete the insurance claim.
