Gooseberry Falls State Park is known as the gateway to the North Shore of Minnesota. The park is located on Minnesota Highway 61 about an hour north of Duluth. The Upper, Middle and Lower Waterfalls of the Gooseberry River within the park cascade through a steep, rocky gorge to Lake Superior.
